Health Guarantee

Your puppy is guaranteed, until it reaches 12 months of age, against hereditary defects that result in severe impairment or need for neutralization. In such cases, your puppy will be replaced with a puppy of equal value as soon as availability permits and as long as we exist.

This replacement puppy will be provided only after the production of medical verification of the hereditary defect or an autopsy report from a veterinarian. We reserve the option of having our veterinarian confirm the defect. Shipping, handling, and veterinary expenses will be the responsibility of the recipient/new owner.

We offer a 10-day money-back guarantee if you decide not to keep our puppy after it arrives at your home. This must be approved by your veterinarian in the event of any health issues.

Clarification of Hereditary Defect

Transmission of characteristics from parents to offspring occurs via a genetic code embodied in genes and chromosomes. This causes an organism to develop in the likeness of its progenitors due to biological heredity passed down from ancestors.

Please note: Patellar Luxation may result from mishandling, injury, or increased weight gain and is therefore not covered under this health guarantee.

Vaccinations and Disease Disclaimer

I certify the puppy to have had its first set of vaccinations. You are responsible for the remaining two sets of shots and for ensuring the puppy receives annual boosters.

This guarantee only covers genetic hereditary defects. We are not responsible for airborne or communicable diseases such as:

  • Parvo
  • Coccidian
  • Giardia
  • Distemper
  • Rabies
  • Or any other infectious diseases
These may be contracted after the puppy leaves our premises. Although we take every precaution to prevent illness, a puppy’s immune system is immature when transferred to a new home. Be cautious where you take your puppy until it is fully immunized.

Owner Responsibility and Limitations

Under no circumstances shall we be responsible for veterinary fees accumulated by our clients for this puppy or its offspring. We will not accept back any puppy that becomes ill after leaving our premises. We are also not liable for a puppy’s demise while under anesthetic.

It is your responsibility to maintain the puppy in healthy condition. Training and housebreaking are also the owner’s responsibility. We encourage all new owners to educate themselves on proper puppy care to ensure a smooth transition and healthy life for your new companion.
